-are any currently mass produced vehicles that can be purchased by consumers and provide acceptable safety and driver assistance technologies. Along with being assigned a Robilty™ Rating these vehicles will meet our top guiding principles:
→ Save (save lives and reduce accidents)
→ Help (help drivers safely control their vehicle)
→ Enjoy (reduce stress and give drivers more enjoyment)
Bot Rods
-are like Hot Rods. These are prototype or test vehicles that are built individually or in small quantities by engineers (they are not mass produced). They have the most advanced (state of the art) self-driving performance. To be considered a BOT ROD the vehicle must achieve a top 5 ranking in autonomous driving performance.
